Dirk Johan Feenstra

Dirk Johan Feenstra is a seasoned professional in sustainable water and soil management with extensive experience in various managerial and project leadership roles. Currently serving as Senior Project Leader for Soil and Water at LTO Noord since January 2020, Dirk focuses on enhancing agricultural practices through sustainable initiatives that improve soil and water quality. Prior roles include Project Leader at LTO Noord, Product Manager at Broos Water, and Advisor at Agrotransfer, with expertise in emission reduction in agriculture and wastewater management. Dirk's early career featured positions as a Business Manager at Troelstra Aquacultuur and a Junior Consultant at Agrotransfer, along with a foundational role as a Nutritionist at Speerstra Feed Ingredients BV. Dirk holds an engineering degree in Dutch Agriculture from Het Van Hall Instituut and has pursued additional education in water management.
