Amanda Leija

Amanda Leija has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Since September 2021, they have been working as a Lead Scheduler/Business Analyst for LTS, where they are responsible for maintaining employee schedules for Mobile Covid-19 Vaccine and Testing events throughout the State of Michigan. Prior to that, from April 2019 to August 2021, they worked as a Clerk III for Kent County's Community Action department, collaborating with culturally diverse individuals and assisting with program requirements. Amanda also held positions in the Health Department of Kent County, serving as a Clerk II from March 2014 to April 2019, an Account Clerk I from June 2011 to February 2014, and a Clerk Typist II from May 2010 to June 2011. In these roles, they managed appointments, coordinated with diverse individuals, and handled accounts receivable and billing tasks. In addition, Amanda has worked for the U.S. Census Bureau as a Personal Assistant/Production Clerk for a brief period in 2010, and as a Temporary Clerk for Maxim Staffing Solutions during the same year. Their earliest work experience was as a Medical Administrative Assistant Intern for SarahCare Adult Day Services, Inc. in 2009. Prior to that, they worked as a Secretarial Assistant for Godwin Heights Public Schools from December 2004 to May 2008, handling various administrative tasks and providing visitor tours.

Amanda Leija obtained a Medical Administrative Assistant Degree from Everest Institute in 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Diploma from Godwin Heights Senior High School, which they attended from 2003 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Amanda Leija also holds various certifications including Body Language, Customer Service Training, Deliver Effective Criticism, How to Conduct a Job Interview, Power BI, Project Meetings, and Speaking Skills for Leaders. These certifications were obtained from GoSkills.com, with the most recent certification being LTS: Deltek Timesheet and Mileage Submissions, which they obtained in June 2021.
