Falko Schmidt

Alejandro Diaz is a Co-Founder of Lucero Bio since December 2019. Prior to this, Alejandro held academic positions at UGent - Imec, serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher from December 2019 to June 2020 and completing a PhD in Photonics Engineering focused on 4π Raman Microscopy from October 2014 to October 2019. Additionally, Alejandro worked as a Laboratory Research Assistant at Ghent University - Imec from March to August 2019, providing support and maintenance for laboratory users and equipment. Alejandro's research experience also includes a role as a Scientific Assistant at Laboratoire d'optique biomédicale in July 2014 and a Research Fellowship at the Nanophotonics Technology Center in 2011, which culminated in a Final Degree Project on nanophotonic crystals. Alejandro holds a European Master of Science in Photonics from Ghent University, VUB, University of St Andrews, and EPFL (2012-2014) and degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de València (2009-2012) and Universitat d'Alacant (2006-2009).
