Austin Young is a seasoned petroleum engineering and wellsite consultant with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Petroleum Engineering & Wellsite Consultant at Southpaw Petroleum Services LLC, Austin provides engineering, business development, and management support to operators. As a Partner and Operations Engineer at Lucky Lad Energy, Austin manages oil and gas wells and pipelines across Texas and Louisiana. Previous roles include petroleum engineer and business development expert at Bourbon Bit Energy, as well as managing non-operational investments at Quest Energy Ventures LLC. With a robust background in drilling engineering from positions at Inland Ocean Inc and Premier Directional Drilling, Austin has successfully completed numerous well drilling programs and has a strong foundation in well performance optimization and operational management. Austin holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University.
