Benedikt Hay

Benedikt Hay is a Design Engineer currently employed at Lucy Electric since June 2023, with extensive experience in design and engineering roles including Lead Designer at Planetary Gears and Design Engineer at ICEoxford. A freelance designer since August 2017, Benedikt's background includes technical engineering focused on architectural facades and CAD, alongside roles in hospitality, such as bartender and waiter. Benedikt holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Architectural Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, completed in 2023, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng Hons) in the same field, awarded in 2021. Benedikt also pursued architecture studies at The Glasgow School of Art and completed A-Levels at The Cherwell School, demonstrating a solid foundation in STEM subjects.
