Shashika Wijesekara

Shashika Wijesekara has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Shashika started their career as a Trainee in HRM at JanRich (Pvt) Ltd., Novex Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd., and Lanka Balloons (Pvt) Ltd. in 2010. Shashika then joined Aegis Services Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. and served as an Executive in Human Resources from 2011 to 2013, followed by a promotion to Senior Executive in the same department from 2013 to 2014. Shashika further advanced their career as a Group HR Executive at Transnational Group - Sri Lanka from 2014 to 2015. Shashika then joined EIGHT25MEDIA as a Manager in Human Resources from 2015 to 2019. In 2019, they founded their own consulting company, FINITY Consulting Services, where they worked as a Founder and HR Consultant. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Lucytech as a Talent Acquisition Manager.

Shashika Wijesekara has a diverse education history. They began their educational journey at Devi Balika Vidyalaya in Colombo, where they completed their Advanced Level degree in Bio Science from 1998 to 2006. Later on, in 2010 to 2013, they obtained a Professional Qualification in Human Resources Management from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM).

In 2017, Shashika became an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM). They furthered their studies at the University of Colombo from 2018 to 2020, earning a Master's degree in Business Management. In 2021 to 2022, they pursued a Chartered Qualification in Human Resources Management from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM).

In addition to their formal education, Shashika has obtained several certifications. They became an Associate Member of CIPD in February 2023. They have also acquired various certificates from LinkedIn, including Diversity Recruiting, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Cybersecurity Awareness: Cybersecurity Terminology, LinkedIn AI Academy AI-100: 1 Demystifying AI, Learning LinkedIn Recruiter, Virtual Recruiting, and Tech Recruiting Foundations in various aspects of IT recruitment.
