Ioanna Rota

Ioanna Rota is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Cancer Immunotherapy at Ludwig Cancer Research, specializing in CRISPR-based screening to enhance T-cell function for adoptive cell therapy in cancer. Previously, Rota completed a PhD in Developmental Immunology at the University of Oxford, where research focused on the transcription regulatory network of the thymic epithelium. Rota's experience includes a role as a Research Assistant in the Developmental Immunology Group at the University of Oxford, work as a Visiting PhD Student at Stanford University for human thymic sample collection, and a foundational post-BSc year at the Hertie Institute for Clinical Brain Research. Rota holds a Master's degree in Integrated Immunology from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens.
