Pierpaolo Ginefra serves as the project leader for the InnoTREK fellowship at NADUP since January 2024 and has been a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Ludwig Cancer Research since July 2019. Previously, Pierpaolo held a Postdoctoral Fellow position at EPFL from January 2013 to March 2019, focusing on basic tumour biology research, and conducted a PhD project involving the design of fluorescence-based biosensors to detect oncogenic protease activities in melanoma models. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Life Science from EPFL (2013-2018), a second-level Master's degree in Management of Biomedical Devices from Luiss Business School (2012), a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from Università degli Studi di Bari (2007-2010), and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the same institution (2004-2007). Additionally, Pierpaolo contributed to a project at IFOM as a scholarship collaborator in early 2011, focusing on tumor suppressor gene characterization.
