Cristovão Reis

Cristóbal F. is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Head of Reactor Control Section for the Atucha I Nuclear Power Plant Life Extension Project at Nucleoeléctrica Argentina S.A. since October 2015, focusing on the development of new Reactor Control and Limitations Systems. Cristóbal also holds a position as a Head Teaching Assistant at the National Technological University of Argentina, where responsibilities include managing laboratory practicals within the Electrical Engineering program. As a representative of Argentina at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Cristóbal contributed to Working Group 2 of the IGALL program from January 2020 to December 2023, focusing on Ageing Management Programs for electrical and I&C components. Previous roles include supervisory positions in maintenance at various industrial companies, and a strong educational background includes an Electromechanical Engineering degree with a specialization in Industrial Automation and a postgraduate course in Wind Energy.
