Joe Lengyel

Joe Lengyel currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Space Force Association and as an Advisor for RAIN Defense + AI and Lulius Innovation. Joe is also the President and CEO of Omega Bluebird Group, LLC, specializing in operational and strategic consulting. Previously, Joe held numerous leadership positions within the United States Department of Defense, including the 28th Chief of the National Guard Bureau and Senior Defense Official in Egypt during the Arab Spring. Joe's earlier career included 14 years as an Airline Pilot with Delta Air Lines and extensive service in the United States Air Force, where Joe achieved the rank of General. Joe holds an MBA focused on Aerospace and Defense from the University of Tennessee, along with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of North Texas.
