Mónica Fernández-Sierra

Mónica Fernández-Sierra, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in scientific and medical fields. Mónica currently works as a Senior Scientific Director at Lumanity since November 2022 and previously held the same position at Vaniam Group from May to August 2022. Before that, they worked at Cello Health as a Senior Scientific Director from December 2021 to April 2022, as a Scientific Director from October 2020 to December 2021, and as an Associate Scientific Director from January 2019 to October 2020. Prior to Cello Health, they held multiple roles at ArticulateScience, including Associate Scientific Director from August to December 2018, Lead Medical Writer from February to August 2018, Senior Medical Writer from January 2016 to February 2018, and Medical Writer from August 2013 to January 2016. Mónica also gained experience as a Technology Transfer Intern at Emory University Office of Technology Transfer from February to August 2013 and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Emory University from October 2011 to August 2013. Mónica began their academic journey in 1999 at the Universidad de Puerto Rico, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. After successfully completing their undergraduate studies in 2004, they proceeded to further their education. From 2005 to 2011, Mónica attended the same institution, Universidad de Puerto Rico, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physical Chemistry.
