Charlotte Schmidlapp

Charlotte Schmidlapp has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. In 2008, they started as a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst at AGC Partners and worked there until 2010. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Communications Associate at The Global Impact Investing Network. Charlotte then joined Newworld Capital as a Senior Analyst from 2012 to 2014, and later became an Associate from 2014 to 2016. Following that, they worked at SunPower Corporation as a Sr. Associate, Utility Origination and Development from 2016 to 2018. In 2017, they became a Venture Partner at NextGen Venture Partners. Charlotte co-founded Climate Tech Operators in 2021 and served as a Co-Founder. From 2018 to 2023, they worked at Stem, Inc., where they held various positions including Senior Manager, Project Finance; Director, Finance; Sr. Director, Finance & Business Operations; and, most recently, VP, Finance. Currently, they are working as the Head of Project Finance at Lumen Energy starting in 2023. Additionally, they have also been a Board Member at Abriendo Mentes since 2010.

Charlotte Schmidlapp received their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Business, from Cornell University. Charlotte attended Cornell from 2004 to 2008. Prior to their university education, Charlotte attended The Hotchkiss School from 2000 to 2004, although the information does not indicate a specific degree or field of study obtained during that time. Additionally, Charlotte Schmidlapp obtained the certification of Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in October 2020.
