Sharon Muir

Sharon Muir is an experienced finance and operations leader currently serving as Head of Finance and Operations at Lumen Learning Trust since January 2021. Previously, Sharon held the position of Finance Manager at the same organization. From September 2013 to January 2021, Sharon worked as School Business Manager at Saxon Primary School. Prior to that, Sharon held various roles in the aviation and defense sectors, including Vice President Commercial at both Falko Regional Aircraft and BAE Systems, as well as Director - Commercial at BAE Systems. Sharon began a career in the industry as an Account Manager - Engineering at British Airways from September 1995 to June 2001. Sharon earned a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath between 1991 and 1995, following completion of education at Upton-by-Chester County High School.
