Robert Kirkwood

Bob Kirkwood is chief financial officer at Lument. As a member of the senior leadership team, Bob takes part in planning the strategic direction of Lument. He is responsible for directing the accounting, financial planning & analysis, finance, treasury, administration, and human resources departments of Lument, as well as oversight of the firm’s sales and trading desk.

Previously, Bob was chief operating officer and chief financial officer at Lument’s predecessor Lancaster Pollard, where he had direct responsibility for the firm’s information technology, accounting and budgeting, financial reporting, treasury and investor reporting, servicing, and human resources functions. As a member of the executive committee, he helped set the strategic direction of the firm, in addition to managing relationships with banking partners.

Prior to joining Lancaster Pollard in 2014, he was CFO and senior managing director at RED Capital Group. He began his career as a member of the financial services audit practice of KPMG, LLP, primarily serving banking and commercial real estate clients.

Bob graduated from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting. He is an inactive certified public accountant (CPA) and holds general securities representative (Series 7), general securities principal (Series 24), and financial and operations principal (Series 27) licenses.
