Elvin Tyler has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to internal audit, finance transformation, and compliance. Elvin has held leadership positions in companies such as Lumentum, NN, Inc., OCLARO, and Spansion, Inc., where they built and managed internal audit functions and led global teams. Elvin also has experience in owning and running an internal audit consulting firm, serving clients in multiple industries. Elvin started their career as a Senior Tax Accountant at BDO and gained experience in conducting financial audits and providing tax advisory services. Elvin has a proven track record of implementing strategic direction, managing internal teams, and liaising with external auditors. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in risk management, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, process improvement, and business performance enhancement.

Elvin Tyler has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of San Francisco School of Management. Elvin also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from San Francisco State University, Lam Family College of Business. In terms of additional certifications, Elvin has obtained certifications such as Commercial Drone Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration, NACD Directorship Certification® from NACD, Certified Information Systems Auditor from ISACA, and Certified Internal Auditor from IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors.
