Hemanth Sunkara

Hemanth Sunkara is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in algorithm development and machine learning inference. Currently serving as Co-CTO at Sunshine since August 2018, Hemanth has held various leadership roles, including Engineering Lead and Founding Engineer. Prior to this, Hemanth was a Principal Software Engineer at Yahoo! from November 2011 to August 2018, focusing on search, assistance, and machine learning, and also worked as a Technical Lead specializing in stream processing and anomaly detection. Earlier experience includes a Senior Software Engineer role at OnMobile, with expertise in user profiling and personalization, and a Software Engineer position at Sasken. Hemanth holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Andhra University.
