Stephane Caplette

Stephane Caplette is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in laser technologies, currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer at LUMIBIRD since June 2022. Prior to this role, Caplette held positions as Project Leader at TeraXion and R&D Director at ITF Technologies, where responsibilities included developing new laser and MOPA architectures and ultra-compact LIDAR sources. The engineering expertise is further highlighted by a series of senior roles in laser engineering, particularly at EOLITE Lasers and ESI-Pyrophotonics, where Caplette led the technical development of fiber laser systems.
