Weverton D. is currently engaged as a Master Thesis student at LUMIKER APLICACIONES TECNOLÓGICAS, focusing on the development of an optical fiber hydrogen sensor. Since September 2022, Weverton has been involved in the EMIMEO Erasmus Master program on Innovative Microwave Electronics and Optics. Previous experience includes various volunteer roles at IEEE from February 2016 to March 2024, including Chair of the IEEE UFCG Student Branch and Coordinator for Pre-University Activities, where strategic planning and impactful projects like "TrainIEEE" and "RevIEEEsta" were initiated. Additionally, Weverton served as a Developer at VIRTUS and held a Data Science and Machine Learning Intern Developer position, contributing to research, development, and innovation projects. Past projects also include an internship at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, engaging in data sensing and ultrasonic communication research. Weverton's educational background encompasses multiple master's degrees in instrumentation, electronics, and physics, alongside a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Universidade Federal de Campina Grande.
