Jason Posselt

Mr. Posselt began his career in HP’s optoelectronics division and was part of the team that developed and launched the first high power LED – LUXEON. With over 25-years of experience in the LED industry leading product development, product marketing, channel marketing, business development, and strategic marketing in the illumination and automotive industries, Mr. Posselt now holds the position of Vice President of LED Marketing for Lumileds.

Prior to Mr. Posselt’s current tenure at Lumileds, he spent a combined 11 years at HP and Lumileds, transitioning from HP to Lumileds when it was formed in 1999. Mr. Posselt returned to Lumileds in 2021 after several years after holding commercial and marketing leadership roles at Intematix and Bridgelux.

Mr. Posselt is based in San Jose, California. He received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
