Wali Zhang

Wali Zhang is a Senior Manager in R&D Process Development at Lumileds since November 2014, specializing in thin film deposition, thermal annealing, and wafer bonding process development. Wali has previously held roles at Lumileds as a Senior Staff Engineer and Staff Engineer, focusing on innovations for high-performance LED and MicroLED technologies. Prior to Lumileds, Wali served as a Research Scientist at the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology, overseeing thin film deposition and process development. Wali began a career as an Application Engineer at ASML, providing application support for Twinscan scanners. Wali holds a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, as well as a Master of Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Dalian Jiaotong University.
