Sean Mcelroy

Sean Mcelroy is the current Chief Security Officer at Lumin Digital. Prior to this, they were the CISO at Alkami Technology from January 2009 to September 2017. Sean has also been the Director of Development at Computer Services, Inc. from November 2002 to December 2009. During their time at Computer Services, Inc., Sean led the product management and engineering teams, and they also designed and patented innovative new products for the financial services marketplace, including the first online, high-volume expedited payments solution in the US.

Sean Mcelroy has a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Cyber Defense from Dakota State University Graduate School, a Master of Science - MS in Information Security Engineering from SANS Technology Institute, and a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA in Management and Management Information Systems from the University of Oklahoma - Price College of Business. Sean Mcelroy is also certified from GIAC in GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), GIAC Certified Project Manager Certification (GCPM), GIAC Certified UNIX Security Administrator (GCUX), GIAC Critical Controls Certification (GCCC), and GIAC Defending Advanced Threats (GDAT).
