Dave Selig

Dave Selig is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in high-speed digital design and hardware architecture. Currently serving as a Principal Design Engineer at Luminar Technologies since August 2018, Selig is responsible for developing industry-leading LiDAR systems. Formerly, Selig held significant roles at Astronics Test Systems as Manager of Electrical Engineering and Principal Design Engineer, and at LitePoint as Principal Design Engineer, showcasing a strong track record in test and measurement instruments. Selig began a noteworthy tenure at AMD, contributing as a Senior Member of Technical Staff and Staff Hardware Engineer, where leadership in platform hardware and motherboard engineering supported substantial business growth. Earlier career roles included Systems Design Engineer at Alcon Labs, Staff Hardware Engineer at Real3D, and Hardware Design Engineer at NCR. Selig earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Grove City College.
