David Foster

David Foster is an accomplished engineering executive and strategic advisor with a diverse background in technology and innovation. David has served as Executive Vice President of Engineering at Luminar Technologies and has provided consultancy through David Foster Consulting. Previously, David held pivotal roles at Lyft, including CEO of Lyft Bikes & Scooters and Vice President of Engineering for the same division. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Vice President of Advanced Technology at JUUL Labs and Chief Operating Officer at Bossa Nova Robotics. David holds a Doctor of Philosophy, as well as Master's and Bachelor's degrees from the University of Oxford, and received foundational education at Winchester College.
