Parthasarathy Narasimhan

Parthasarathy Narasimhan is a seasoned professional in engineering and technology management, currently serving as Senior Director and Head of India Engineering at Luminar Technologies since April 2023. Previously, Parthasarathy held the position of Vice President and Managing Director at Velodyne Lidar India from June 2021 to April 2023, where responsibilities included establishing and growing the India design center focused on innovating LiDAR sensors and self-driving software. Additional experience includes roles as a consultant at Velodyne Lidar, Senior Director of ASIC Design Engineering at SiFive, and multiple positions at Rambus and Cypress Semiconductor Corporation, where Parthasarathy managed design engineering activities and led teams in semiconductor design methodologies. Parthasarathy's academic background includes a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from S.R.M. Engineering College.
