Josh Smith

Josh Smith has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the field of user experience design and industrial design. Josh has held positions at prominent companies such as Luminary, Avanade, Loud & Clear, Symplicit, Raeco, Mei+Picchi, London South Bank University, krow group, and Morris Associates Exhibition Design. Josh has served as the Director of User Experience Design (UX) at Luminary, the Experience Design Practice Lead at Avanade and Loud & Clear, and the Lead Experience Designer at Symplicit. Josh has also worked as an Industrial Designer, 3D Artist, and Exhibition Designer in different organizations, demonstrating their multi-faceted expertise.

Josh Smith holds a Master of Science degree in Enterprise, specializing in Product Design & Management, which they earned from London South Bank University from 2008 to 2010. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Product Design with a minor in Anatomy & Biomechanics from the same university between 2004 and 2008. In 2014 and 2015, they attended General Assembly and pursued User Experience Design. For their high school education, they attended City College Plymouth from 2001 to 2003 and obtained an Advanced Vocational Certificate in Science. Additionally, they completed various certifications including Behavioural Design from Irrational Labs in 2021, Behavioural Economics 101 from edX in 2020, and LUMA Practitioner from LUMA Institute in 2020.
