Sydney Bunshaft

Sydney Bunshaft, MS, LCGC, is an experienced Genetic Counselor currently working at Luminary Life Sciences since October 2022. Previously, Bunshaft served as a Preconception Genetic Counselor at New Hope Fertility Center from October 2020 to October 2022 and as a Prenatal Genetic Counselor at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital from May 2019 to October 2020. Additionally, Bunshaft was a Prenatal Partner at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, providing support to pregnant women from August 2017 to May 2019. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Genetic Counseling from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Emory University. Early career experience includes a research internship at PepsiCo, where Bunshaft adapted histology protocols for food microstructure investigation.
