David Madden

David Madden is an experienced leader in technology, innovation, and strategic partnerships, currently serving as the Director of Ecosystems & Partnerships at Luminate since November 2018. With a strong focus on building infrastructure for a better internet and enhancing the organization's impact, Madden has also held key roles such as Head of Innovation and Senior Advisor, tackling global strategic priorities in data and digital rights. As the founder and chair of the Phandeeyar Innovation Lab in Myanmar, Madden has played a pivotal role in developing the country's tech ecosystem. Additionally, Madden co-founded Purpose, a firm that aids progressive organizations in maximizing their social impact through technology. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and degrees in International Law and History & Political Science from UNSW.
