Valbona Z.

Valbona Z. has worked in the IT industry since 2000. Valbona began their career as a Lecture Assistant at the Polytechnic University of Tirana, Albania, where they taught the module “Analysing the Computer Aided Circuits”, PSPICE and ORCAID simulation software, tested and evaluated software to be purchased by the department, and maintained the Lab’s computer network. In 2001, Valbona joined Vodafone as a Network Operation Engineer, where they monitored and analysed system performance, identified problems and generated effective solutions, and responded to alarms and cleared all faults. Since 2018, Valbona has been employed at Luminet as a Network Operations Center Manager and Network Engineer.

Valbona Z. has a varied educational background. Valbona completed a Master's degree in Computer Networking and Cyber Security from London Metropolitan University between 2016 and 2017. Prior to this, they obtained GCSE English Language and Mathematics Higher Tier from City and Islington College between 2015 and 2016. Valbona also holds a Master's degree in Computing and Information Systems from London Guildhal College, which they completed between 2005 and 2006. Valbona obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineer, Telecomunicatons from Polytechnic University of Tirana between 1995 and 2000. Valbona also has several certifications, including a PRINCE2® Foundation Certificate in Project Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice (obtained in September 2022), a Managing Safely certification from THE INSTITUTION OF OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH (obtained in July 2020), and a Wireshark: Packet Loss and Recovery certification from Lynda.com (obtained in May 2019). Additionally, they have a Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certification from Cisco (obtained in May 2018 and May 2021), a Cisco Certified Networking Professional -Enterprise certification from Cisco (obtained in May 2021), a Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation certification from Cisco (obtained in May 2021), a Cisco Certified Specialist - Network Core certification from Cisco (obtained in July 2020), a Health and Safety for Home Workers certification from IN HOUSE TRAINING & CONSULTANCY LIMITED (obtained in March 2020), and a Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certification from Cisco (obtained in May 2018).
