Carlos Treistman

Carlos Treistman is an experienced legal and business professional, currently serving as the Founder of Treistman Global Advisors, LLC since June 2020, and as Owner & General Counsel of Jaguar Transportation since July 2023. Carlos holds the positions of General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Luminus Management and Iris Capital, both since 2021 and 2022, respectively. Carlos has previously provided legal expertise as General Counsel at Crossroads Impact Corp and as a Shareholder at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where responsibilities included senior corporate and LATAM practice focus. Prior to that, Carlos was a founding Partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, leading the Texas office and the LATAM practice, and held similar leadership roles at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and King & Spalding. Carlos's academic background includes a Master of Laws from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Doctor of Law from SMU Dedman School of Law, and degrees from Southern Methodist University and the University of Texas at Austin, all focused on international business, law, and Latin American studies.
