Shawna Laker

Shawna Laker has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Shawna is currently working as a Senior Manager in Enterprise Account Management at LumiQ since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Curiosity Consultant.

Shawna has a strong background in sales and management, as evidenced by their previous roles at Bench Accounting. Shawna worked as a Senior Sales Manager for Retro from June 2022 to December 2022. Before that, they held roles as a Sales Manager, Sales Team Lead, and Account Executive, where they were responsible for building and leading teams, scaling sales and customer service departments, and managing partnerships.

In addition to their sales and management experience, Shawna also has expertise in accounting and tax resolution. Shawna worked as a Senior Program Specialist for Tax Resolution Partnerships and an Accountant Program Specialist. Shawna also held roles as an Accounting Associate and Sales Development Specialist at Bench Accounting.

Shawna has also worked in the fitness industry as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Attendant at West Shore Parks & Recreation and PISE. Shawna has experience in delivering personalized training programs, group training, and maintaining a safe fitness environment.

Earlier in their career, Shawna worked as a Store and Regional Manager at JUSU Bar, where they were responsible for hiring, training, and setting up new locations. Shawna also worked as a Juice Consultant for various Vancouver Juice Companies.

Furthermore, Shawna has presented as a panelist at The 2022 Forensic Accounting Summit, where they shared their expertise in forensic accounting and reconstruction techniques.

Shawna 'swork experience also includes a role as a Barista at Starbucks. Shawna has shown versatility and adaptability throughout their career, leveraging their skills and knowledge across various industries and roles.

Shawna Laker has a Diploma in Sport Performance from Camosun College. Shawna also pursued studies in Reiki at Growing Whole. Additionally, they studied American Sign Language (ASL) at The University of British Columbia. Shawna also holds a Certificate in Korean Language and Literature from Hallym University.
