Ed Varnado

Ed Varnado is Vice President, Finance of Lumos Pharma. He brings over twelve years of experience and finance expertise in the biotechnology industry. Prior to joining the Lumos Pharma team, he held various roles of increasing responsibility in finance supporting R&D and Commercial Manufacturing teams, including over five years of experience directly supporting Drug Development and Life-cycle teams at Genentech and Roche Pharma. Most recently as Director and Head of Finance for WuXi Clinical Development in Austin, he oversaw long range business and financial planning for clinical trial operations and CRO contracting.

Mr. Varnado earned a BS in Business Management and Marketing from Cornell University and an MBA with a concentration in Capital Markets and Corporate Finance from Kenan-Flagler School of Business, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
