Rocky Hynes is a seasoned communications and marketing professional with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Communications & Prevention at Luna Child and Youth Advocacy Centre, Rocky previously held significant roles, including Manager of Communications & Marketing at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary & Area, where impactful storytelling and branding initiatives contributed to positive community outcomes. As Acting President & CEO at Mark's, Rocky led a successful public relations strategy that rebranded the company from a work-wear retailer to a casual-wear destination. Additional experience includes serving as Account Director at Weber Shandwick, where Rocky developed communications strategies for diverse clients, and as Director of Communications at BioNova, enhancing the profile of the life sciences sector. Rocky holds a Bachelor of Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Memorial University.
