Ian Alexander

Ian Alexander is a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the medical device and energy sectors. Currently employed at Lund Fire Products since December 2007, Ian has contributed significantly through the development and analysis of fuel cells, enhancing efficiency in Direct Methanol Fuel Cells, and implementing marketing strategies. Previous roles include Senior Engineer at Abiomed and Mechanical Engineer at Proven Process Medical Devices, as well as positions at Covidien and NuVant Systems Inc. Ian has hands-on experience with instrumentation and testing, having contributed to peer-reviewed research in fuel cell development. Ian's early career includes co-op positions at Boston Scientific and KeySpan, focusing on valve design and emissions reduction strategies. Ian holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, completed in 2009.
