Debra Rose

Debra Rose has a diverse work experience in finance and administration. Debra started their career as a Staff Accountant at Metcalf, Hodges & Co., CPA's, where they provided accounting, auditing, and tax services for clients. Debra then worked at Pan Pacific Development (U.S.) Inc. as a Corporate Accountant, where they were responsible for all corporate accounting and streamlining the consolidation process. Following this, they joined SSI MicroAge as an Assistant Controller, managing the operation of a small accounting department.

Debra then transitioned to Western Washington University, where they served as a Senior Accountant, responsible for the financial reporting of the university. Debra ensured that the annual financial report accurately represented the university's financial position and complied with guidelines and standards.

Subsequently, Debra joined the Western Washington University Foundation as a Finance Officer, before moving on to Lupus Research Alliance. At Lupus Research Alliance, they held various roles including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Finance and Administrative Officer. In these positions, Debra was responsible for developing strategic plans, setting policy, monitoring performance, and overseeing the finance and operations departments.

Debra Rose earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting from Western Washington University, where they attended from 1989 to 1992. After completing their undergraduate studies, Debra obtained several additional certifications in the field of accounting. Debra became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in June 1993 through the Washington State Board of Accountancy. In January 1995, Debra also earned the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification through the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). Finally, in April 1997, they obtained the CMA certification from the Certified Management Accountant: CMA®.
