Minoosh Pardakhti began their work experience in 2008 as a Pharmacy Technician at Paoli Pharmacy. After that, they worked as a Research Assistant at Temple University Cognitive Psychology Laboratory from 2009 to 2010. Minoosh then became a Child Life Volunteer at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from 2010 to 2012. In 2010, they also started working as a Research Assistant at Temple University Neurocognition Laboratory, where they stayed until 2012. In 2011, they became a Research Assistant at the Child and Adolescent Anxiety Disorder Clinic. In 2014, they worked as a School Counseling Intern at The Center School P.S. 243. In 2015, they joined The New LIFE School as a School Counselor and remained in that role until 2018. From 2017 to 2018, they also served as a Transitional Coordinator at The New LIFE School. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as an IEP and Testing Coordinator and from 2020 to 2023 as an Acting Assistant Principal at The New LIFE School. Most recently, they started working as the Director of Research and Quality Improvement at Lutheran Social Services of New York in November 2023.
Minoosh Pardakhti completed their education with a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts and Master of Education in School Counseling and Psychological Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University between 2013 and 2015. For their undergraduate studies, they pursued Psychology at Temple University from 2007 to 2012. Before entering university, Minoosh attended Radnor High School. Additionally, they hold certifications in School Building Leadership from the New York State Education Department obtained in 2020, and School Counseling obtained in 2015.
