Scott Stringer has extensive work experience in quality management and continuous improvement. Scott is currently the Director of Quality at Carrier HVAC. Prior to this role, they held various positions at Luvata, including Director of Quality, North American Operations, where they utilized improvement tools like Six-Sigma and error proofing methodology to enhance product quality. Scott also served as the Director of Continuous Improvement at Luvata Tubes Division, where they championed the implementation of the Luvata Production System across multiple plants. Before joining Luvata, Scott worked as an Operations Manager at a manufacturing facility, where they implemented Lean Manufacturing principles and led cultural change within the organization. Scott also served as a Lean Manufacturing Manager at GEM City Engineering and Manufacturing and as a Growth Manager at Freudenberg NOK.
Scott Stringer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wright State University in 1994. Scott also obtained additional certifications, including Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from Aveta Business Institute in 2017, Six-Sigma Green Belt from FNGP in 1999, and Certified Lean Implementer from FNGP in 1997. Scott also completed the Luvata Leadership Program, offered by VA Consultants.
