Sarah-Jo Doucet has a diverse work experience starting from 1989. Sarah-Jo began their career as an Engineering Drafting Clerk at Telesat and worked until 1993. In 1993, Sarah-Jo joined the Canadian Armed Forces as a Signals Officer and held various positions within the organization. Sarah-Jo served as an Adjutant, Executive Assistant to the Commander, and Telecommunications Officer (J6). From 2012 to 2014, they served as the J1 Reserve Services and from 2014 to 2018, they worked as the J4/J6, Major. Following their time in the military, Sarah-Jo joined the 41 Canadian Brigade Group Headquarters in 2018 as the Institutional Support Liaison Officer until 2021. Currently, they are working at Lux Modus as the Manager Corporate Administration, starting in September 2021. In addition to their professional career, they took a break for maternity leave from 2011 to 2012. Sarah-Jo also gained experience outside their regular jobs by managing wireless telecommunications for the 2002 G8 Summit in Kananaskis while working with DFAIT-G8 Summit.
