Wesley H. Gallup

Wes Gallup is a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for Cary Street Partners. He is responsible for leading the firm’s operations strategy and business systems execution. He also supports the firm’s business development efforts while managing his own wealth management practice.

Mr. Gallup brings to Cary Street Partners over 15 years of financial services experience across investment banking, alternative investing, public accounting, and independent wealth management. Prior to joining Cary Street Partners, he founded Gallup Wealth Consulting, an independent RIA firm, which merged into Cary Street Partners. Before that, he was a Partner at Austin Wealth Management and served as Chief Operating Officer of Checchi Capital Advisers, a multi-family office. He began his career in investment banking with Lazard.

Mr. Gallup is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where he earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the McCombs School of Business.
