Nicole McKendry currently serves as the Dean of Students at Lycée Français de Chicago's Middle School, a role held since August 2020, and has also taken on the interim position of Primary School Counselor, providing interventions for preschool through 5th-grade students and coordinating care with teachers and parents. Previously, McKendry was the School Counseling Department Chair and a School Counselor at Loyola Academy, leading a team of counselors through significant organizational changes and offering comprehensive support to high school students. Additional experience includes roles at Northwestern University as a Counselor of Undergraduate Admission, and mental health counseling positions with Lutheran Social Services of Illinois and Barrington Youth and Family Services. McKendry holds a Bachelor of Science in Human & Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University.
