Nicholas Lind has a long and varied work experience. Nicholas began their career in 2010 as a Summer Associate at Bryan Cave. Nicholas then worked as an Extern at the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California in the same year. In 2009, they were an Intern - Contracts and Grants at UCSF. In 2011, they began working as an Associate at Bryan Cave. In 2015, they began their academic career, first as a PhD Candidate at the University of California, Berkeley, and then as a Postdoctoral Researcher. In 2019, they were a Summer Fellow at 5AM Ventures. Most recently, they have been working as a Scientist I and Scientist II at Lycia Therapeutics since 2021.
Nicholas Lind obtained their B.S. and B.A. in Biochemistry and Political Science from UC San Diego between 2001 and 2006. Nicholas then earned their M.S. in Biology from UC San Diego in 2006 and 2007. Following this, they attended University of California, Hastings College of the Law (now UC Law San Francisco) from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained their J.D. In 2011, they were certified as a Patent Attorney by the USPTO and as a California State Bar. Lastly, they earned their PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from University of California, Berkeley between 2015 and 2020.
