Ben Sandford

Ben Sandford is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in control systems and systems engineering, currently serving as a Sr. Systems Engineer at Lycoming Engines since June 2014. Ben has held multiple roles within the same company, including Sr. Control System Engineer and System Engineer. Prior to this, experience as a Research Assistant was gained at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown from September 2013 to December 2014, and Ben completed a Logistics Testing and Data Analysis CO-OP at Inteligistics from August 2012 to June 2013. Academically, Ben holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ohio University, completed in August 2023, and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown, earned in 2014.
