Chuck Russo

Chuck Russo is an experienced materials scientist and engineer, currently serving as the Materials Lab Manager and Senior Metallurgist at Lycoming Engines since March 2006. Prior experience includes roles as an Adjunct Professor of Metallurgy at Tri-State University from August 1998 to May 2006 and as an Advanced Product Development Engineer at Amcast Automotive from May 1997 to January 2006. Before transitioning to the private sector, Chuck Russo served in the US Army from May 1993 to May 1997, where responsibilities included Logistics Officer and various leadership roles within the 215th Forward Support Battalion and the 3rd Brigade Headquarters. Chuck Russo holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering and a BS in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, both from Lehigh University.
