Christelle Jansen van Rensburg is a seasoned metallurgist with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies. Currently a Senior Metallurgist at Glencore since July 2020, previous positions include Principal Metallurgist at Nyrstar and Metallurgical Consultant at Contract Services. Christelle's expertise spans process optimization, troubleshooting, and operational support, with a history of significant contributions in precious metal recovery at BASF and process design at Lycopodium Minerals. Early career roles at Hatch Africa and Saldanha Steel involved process development, commissioning, and production engineering. Christelle holds a B.Eng in Metallurgy from the University of Pretoria.
