Lital Ben-Shitrit

Lital Ben-Shitrit has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

Lital is currently working at Lydus Medical as a Product Director since November 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Project Manager from July 2021 until November 2022.

Before joining Lydus Medical, Lital worked at Alma Therapeutics starting from January 2020. At Alma Therapeutics, they held the position of R&D Engineer and Project Manager. Their responsibilities included managing the Mobius project, a novel oral drug delivery platform. Lital was in charge of building the R&D work plan, designing and manufacturing prototypes for the proof-of-concept phase.

From August 2018 to December 2019, Lital worked at OZCA Engineering Solutions Ltd. as an R&D Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for designing and developing medical products in the drug delivery industry. Lital oversaw the entire product development process, from the idea stage to mechanical design, verification and validation, and clinical experiments.

Prior to that, Lital was involved in the electric car field. Lital worked as the Electric Car Project Leader at BGRacing from August 2017 to July 2018. In this position, they had professional responsibility for a team of 60 students and was involved in decision making, risk management, and building work plans for the project. Additionally, they worked as a Heat Transfer Team Engineer from September 2016 to July 2017, focusing on R&D for electric vehicle heat transfer.

Lital began their career as a Laboratory Assistant at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from July 2017 to May 2018. Lital worked in the biological composite materials lab, serving as an R&D engineer for biologic composite material breaking mechanism. Their responsibilities included conducting proof-of-concept experiments and learning Labview.

Lital Ben-Shitrit attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2014 to 2018, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
