Jessica Fioravanti, DVM, PhD has extensive work experience in the field of immunotherapy and cancer research. Jessica is currently working at Lyell Immunopharma as a Senior Scientist. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Scientist at LIT- Leibniz Institute for Immunotherapy.
Jessica also worked as a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) for four years, where they focused on experimental transplantation and immunotherapy. Before joining NCI, they were a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at Ospedale San Raffaele, specializing in immunology, transplantation, and infectious diseases.
Additionally, Jessica has worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Navarra, focusing on gene and cell cancer immunotherapy. Jessica started their research career as a PhD student at CIMA-Center for Applied Medical Research, where they studied cancer gene therapy and hepatology.
Jessica Fioravanti, DVM, PhD began their education by earning a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in an unspecified year. Jessica then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biochemistry and Biotechnology Specialization Diploma at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, completing their studies in 2006. Afterward, Jessica pursued a PhD in Sciences, specializing in Hepatology and Gene Therapy, at the University of Navarra, completing their degree in 2011.
