Stephen Hayes

Stephen Hayes currently holds the position of VP, Autonomous, Fleets, and Driver Operations at Lyft, a role initiated in September 2024. Previously, Stephen served as CEO at flexdrive from 2021 to September 2024, where leadership focused on technology innovation, fleet electrification, and business growth, managing a fleet exceeding 10,000 vehicles. Stephen's career at Lyft from 2015 to 2021 included roles such as Director and Senior Manager of Express Drive, where pivotal contributions involved launching the Express Drive program. Earlier experiences include positions at Inkling from 2011 to 2015, and an internship with the White House Domestic Policy Council in 2009, where Stephen developed policy briefs on various domestic issues.
