Brandon Doss

Brandon Doss has a diverse work experience in various industries. Brandon is currently working as an Analytical Services Manager at Lygos since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Constellation Brands as a Manager, Research Chemist from July 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Constellation Brands, Brandon served as the Head of Site Technical Operations at Calysta from September 2019 to July 2021. Brandon also held the role of Research and Development Scientist and Lab Manager at Calysta from November 2013 to September 2019. In this position, they were responsible for small molecule and metabolite analysis, equipment and instrumentation support, and operational workflows.

Brandon's previous experience includes working at Algenol Biofuels Inc. as a Sr. Research Associate - Analytical Chemistry from August 2011 to November 2013. Brandon specialized in GC and GC-MS method development, application engineering, and sample preparation protocols to support algal biochemistry and aquaculture.

Additionally, they co-founded Sustainable Packaging Solutions, LLC in April 2010. As a co-founder, they played a role in the production, bottling, wholesale, and retail marketing of novel wine and beer brands. Brandon also oversaw the creation of brand identities and packaging concepts.

Brandon's early career includes working at Arizona Synthetic Fuels, LLC as a Research Scientist/Chemist from August 2007 to August 2011, where they focused on carbon-neutral fuel synthesis processes. Brandon also worked at Northern Arizona University as an Instrumentation Specialist from October 2005 to February 2009, specializing in operation, training, maintenance, and IT support of various analytical techniques.

Brandon Doss completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry at Henderson State University during the period of 1998 to 2002. Afterward, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Physical Chemistry at Arizona State University from 2002 to 2005.
