Carl Garrubba

Carl Garrubba, DMSc, PA-C, DFAAPA, CPA, currently serves as Vice Provost at Samuel Merritt University since June 2024 and holds multiple roles at Dominican University of California, including Dean of the School of Health and Natural Sciences and Adjunct Professor. Garrubba has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Lynchburg School of PA Medicine since January 2023. Previous experience includes significant leadership positions within the Physician Assistant Education Association and extensive clinical research involvement in HIV at UCLA Men's Study and University of Pittsburgh. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Medical Science from the University of Lynchburg and a Master of Physician Assistant from Duquesne University.
