Anna Legedza has over 30 years of diverse work experience in the fields of biostatistics, modeling and simulation, and consulting. Anna is currently the Director of Biostatistics at Lyndra Therapeutics, a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to this, Anna worked at Alkermes as a Director of Biostatistics from December 2017 to June 2021. Anna also has a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, having worked at Vertex Pharmaceuticals in various roles, including Associate Director, Interim Head of Modeling & Simulation, and Principal Biostatistician, among others. Anna also has experience in academia, having held a position as an Associate Biostatistician and Instructor at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center & Harvard Medical School. Anna began their career as a Staff Consultant at Price Waterhouse. Additionally, Anna has a musical background as a former board member and violinist in the Longwood Symphony Orchestra.
Anna Legedza completed their education in a chronological manner, starting with an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Princeton University between 1986 and 1990. Anna then pursued a Master's degree in Statistics from Carnegie Mellon University from 1992 to 1994. Following that, Anna attended Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where they earned a Doctor of Science (Sc.D.) degree in Biostatistics from 1994 to 2000. Lastly, they continued their academic journey at the same institution and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Biostatistics from 1999 to 2001.
