Thomas Plummer

Thomas Plummer has a long history of work experience. From 2002 to 2005, they worked as a Certified Tutor at the Academic Resource Center. From 2005 to 2016, they were an Electrical Engineer at McQ Inc., where they developed sensor systems in various roles, including Lead Algorithm Developer, Embedded Firmware Lead, Field Data Collection Expert, Image Processing Lead and System Engineer. In 2016, they worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at GridPoint. From 2018 to 2022, they were a Senior Algorithms Designer at McQ Inc., where they developed, simulated and tested detection and classification algorithms for unattended ground sensors. Lastly, from 2009 to present, they have been a Kayak Fishing Guide and Reality TV star for Extreme Kayak Fishing with TJ.

Thomas Plummer has an educational history that includes a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (2006-2013) and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Miami (2001-2005). Thomas also holds certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration for Remote Pilot (obtained in October 2021) and from the State of Virginia for EIT.
